Visit From Seymour Yang



We were visited by Seymour Yang, last night, who was in Bournemouth on holiday. He stopped by to train with us at our Wednesday night Gi class.

A really nice guy with a very good game. It was great to train with and chat with someone who is so passionate about Jiu-jitsu and works really hard and does such a great job promoting the art through his articles and website (http://meerkat69.blogspot.com/).

    Cool. I didn't realise you were in Bournemouth, as I thought you taught in Surrey? Presumably that was a while ago.

    We moved down a couple of months ago. Good to be near the ocean again :-)

    Ah, fair enough. My gf used to complain about being too far from the coast when we lived in Birmingham: in Bristol now, so not quite so far anymore. Also means we're near Wales, which makes me happy. Lots of castles! :D
